Sensei Meenu Thapa is a highly respected judo instructor with decades of training and coaching experience. Known for her disciplined teaching style and strong technical foundation, she has played an important role in mentoring young athletes and promoting judo among girls and youth students. Her guidance emphasizes confidence, balance, and long-term growth through structured training.

Podar Judo Club was established in 1974 by Sensei R.W. Patil. He started the classes under the guidance of Prof. Palekar, Principle and Prof. Chandgadkar, Matunga Gymkhana Chairman.
Under the guidance of Sensei Ravindra Patil, a highly experienced 8th Degree Black Belt, the dojo has produced numerous national and international champions.
Podar Judo Club has been a reliable place for judo training in Mumbai, creating national champions and talented athletes through regular, focused practice.
